I have spent the past twenty five years helping people to secure their wealth and protect their future with appropriate insurance coverage. I started out in the insurance industry working for one of the largest insurance companies in the U.S. and found that I could be of better service to others by becoming independent representing many companies instead of captive (representing only one). I then went on to get my real estate license and became an expert in real estate finance, having ran my own mortgage company for 15 years. By combining the two fields together I can bringing a unique perspective to managing peoples' finances and personal lives. I have truly mastered the tools to assist those with estate and financial planning needs as well as finance and debt mangement. When a person is thinking about health coverage there is so much more that goes into selecting health insurance especially as we get older and we have a family to support and protect. Insurance does not stop at health it continues with life insurance, disability income protection, medicare supplements, long term care, annuities and lastly managing a mortgage.
One of my favorite stories is helping a senior after her husband had passed away and she did not know what to do with the life insurance proceds that she was left with. She barely had enough money to cover her expenses and she needed to find a safe investment that paid out enough to cover her monthly expenses and also protecting her principal. I put her into a guaranteed fixed rate deferred annuity and long term care insurance. Now she receives some of her interest (which grows tax deferred as it compounds daily) each month. I have many stories of the wonderful people whom I have helped throughout my career and I will continue to make a difference in other people's lives.
I enjoy spending any time with my family and my pug Bingo. I am also an Eagle Scout and hope to share scouting with my own son. Astronomy is one of my passions and I admire any astronaut that has been in space.
